Stanley Milgram's Research on Human Obedience

Many people know about Milgram's work showing that 65% of people were willing to "follow orders" and administer electric shocks to an innocent, and objecting, person. Fewer people are familiar with the different variables Milgram introduced into his subsequent experiments. These variables and their significance will be discussed. Humans might not be the thoughtless order followers that the initial numbers suggest

After completing a double major in Psychology/Pre-Med at Kent State, Jim went to medical school at the University of Cincinnati. He later completed residency training programs in Family Medicine and Psychiatry. Jim also dabbles in beekeeping, home brewing, and Stoic philosophy.
