From Free Will To Civil Liberty
Many philosophers argue whether humans possess something mysterious called "free will" as an attribute to our relationship to a mystical entity above us or an absolute reality below us. I will argue that the debate is based on absurd premises: as for metaphysics, the only free will that matters is epistemic freedom, i.e. the necessary ignorance in which we are of ourselves and each other. And the proper way to adapt to this ignorance is to build rules that respect the mutual autonomy of individuals, i.e. property rights. Freedom is not a relationship we have to God, but to each other.

Liberty Heroes Workshop
“Never forgotten are our heroes, for they are us and we are them.”

All over the world, there are countless heroes of liberty who are suffering for their sacrifice. Some are exiled or imprisoned, others even worse. Ross and Eric come to mind, but there are many, many others.

This workshop is to bring us together and advocate for those who feel they have been silenced. If we each write just one letter each, a flicker of light can be seen in the darkest of cells. The results of this workshop will be priceless and will be talked about and remembered by someone for the rest of their lives.

Contributions of the following will be welcomed:
1. Supplies: Pencils, paper, envelopes, stamps
2. Bio submissions of people imprisoned, including address information

Stupid Things Libertarians / Anarchists Say and Believe
How do some anarchists undermine the arguments for liberty in making their strong statements against the state--of which, if taken to their logical conclusion, also undermine the case for a free market?

Some examples include: "The State doesn't exist"; "We should not engage in libertarian infighting"; "Concepts don't exist"; as well as other nonsensical statements.

Daniel is a dualist. He thinks the materialist strain that has infected libertarian thought reeks of scientism and undermines the arguments for liberty. His discussion aims to explore this realm of thought and discussion.
