Freedom From Sexuality: Human Asexuality
In high school biology we learned that mosses are asexual. Did you know that some people are asexual too? Asexuality is the absence of innate desire for partnered sex during some or all of a person's life. With the help of a sex therapist I recently came to identify as asexual. I will share what I have learned about human asexuality, answer any questions I can, and provide a space for discussion of the topic. Fun facts: Studies indicate 1% of the adult population is asexual. That's 2.7 million asexuals in the United States and 54 million worldwide.

DIY Nut Milk
Way back in the Middle Ages, humans were making milk out of all sorts of nuts, seeds, and grains. Somehow over the years, this art has gone out of favor. Now almost everyone assumes that "milk" is that white stuff you get from a cow. Most of us don't even think about the white stuff you get from non-animal sources.

There's been somewhat of a resurgence though. Now you see almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, and other kinds of plant-based milks for sale commercially. That's been great for people who are allergic to cow's milk, or for people you can't digest it, or for those who have chosen a vegan lifestyle.

But those commercial products aren't all they're cracked up to be. They have sugars and other additives that you probably don't really want. If you make your own, YOU control what goes into your milk. It costs less, too, and it's really not that hard to do.

Who Are You? True Freedom Comes From Within
True freedom comes from within. You are truly free when you live from your essence. In this talk science meets spirituality. It shows who you are in essence and what that looks like; How the way we are programmed makes our life more of a challenge than a joy; Why for most people the life that they dream of is so hard to accomplish; And why people get sick.

Freedom comes when you transform your programming. It explains how you are connected to the whole, the universe, and how you function in that.

Learn what you can do to have a healthier, fulfilling, happier, and balanced life where your dreams are easier to fulfill.

Touch Rugby (no experience needed)
Are you a Porcupine that is playing rugby, has played, or wants to learn? Time to dust off your boots and come out to the pitch. Since many of us old ruggers don't play anymore and are no longer used to the brutality of the game, we are going to just play touch 7's. That means we are just tagging each other not tackling, basically we are playing "Booger." Even if you don't want to play, come out, pass a ball around, and drink a pint. New players with no experience welcome, male and female ruggers encouraged to come. No age limit is required but you must be large enough to keep up with adults.

PorcOlympics
(Age 6+) Join us for the 8th annual Kids' PorcOlympics. WOW, we have so much fun!! Bradley was a Penn State Decathlete and he uses his knowledge to create decathlon-style "run-jump-throw" events for the kids. Then he does some amazing demonstrations of javelin throws, shot put tosses, etc. Winners in close age groups get medals and everyone gets prizes and candy. This event is great fitness fun for kids aged 6-18, and yes, Varrin Swearingen has competed with a few 18-year-olds to make them feel more comfortable about competing! And he won races too (all in fun!) Everyone has a good time, rain or shine. Arrive promptly at 9:30 to sign up so we can place kids in age groups and enjoy the festivities. We usually have 20-25 kids attend, and it's a great way to meet and mingle. See you on the Field!
