Seth Hipple
Law Offices of Martin & Hipple Attorney
Concord, NH
Attorney Seth Hipple is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law and is a litigator at Martin & Hipple, the Concord, NH law firm he co-founded in 2009. Seth was selected for the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Leadership Academy, which seeks to identify and train leaders of the legal profession, and graduated in 2013. Though Seth appears in court on a variety of matters, he is most proud of his victories on behalf of videographers arrested for recording police. These cases include the wiretapping charges brought against independent reporter Bill Alleman and former FSP president Carla Gericke. After successfully defending both in state criminal court, Martin & Hipple filed, and eventually settled, lawsuits against the arresting officers. Before settlement, Seth argued Ms. Gericke’s case in the First Circuit Court of Appeals, achieving the first order from a United States Court of Appeals finding that the right to record police traffic stops is protected by the First Amendment.
