Frank Edelblut

New Hampshire Representative
New Hampshire
Frank has been married for 30 years to his college sweetheart, Kathleen. They have seven children, three out of college, two in college, and two working their way toward that goal. They have also been blessed with a granddaughter and grandson.

“Being a grandparent is really cool. If you get the chance, do it!” Frank and his wife Kathy have raised and home schooled their children in Mason and Wilton, New Hampshire. They appreciate what a great place New Hampshire is to raise a family and have a great love for the state.

“I was 29 years old, had two kids and one on the way. The economy was in recession and I was out of work. I could not find a job anywhere. I had skills that had been developed over the years, so I took those skills and launched my first business.”

That business grew from a humble start at the kitchen table into a global company. Frank eventually sold that company and has been instrumental in starting a number of additional businesses, both with Common Angels (an angel investing group) and on his own. Before starting his first business, Frank worked as a CPA for one of the largest accounting firms in the world and served as a Chief Financial Officer.

Frank Edelblut is not only involved in starting new business ventures, he has also demonstrated a willingness to give back to his community. He currently serves as State Representative as well as Water Commissioner in his hometown of Wilton. Frank was a founding member of the Beefields CSA, a community farm in the town of Wilton.

For Frank Edelblut, New Hampshire should be the first state to try new ideas and the first state to jettison old ideas (like pretending that money from the federal government is ‘free’).

Frank Edelblut brings the type of leadership New Hampshire needs. Government must have a “light-touch” that allows individuals freedom to pursue their dreams, encourages responsibility and cooperation, and allows businesses to thrive, creating economic security and opportunity for all Granite Staters.

“I hope you will support my run for governor. Thanks!”
